Sebastian Alexander Swisher Busted for Allegedly Keeping 16 Ferrets in Santa Ana Pad

Working off a tip, Santa Ana Police Animal Control officers were arrested a 23-year-old resident for allegedly importing and transporting live restricted animals and took custody of 16 ferrets that were turned over to OC Animal Care.

A Santa Ana Police statement says Animal Control officers were informed that Sebastian Alexander Swisher bought the ferrets in Nevada and transported them to California, where possessing them remains illegal (despite the best efforts of former Weekling Victor Infante; see “Free at Last! Free at … Look a Leaf! California ferrets on the verge of amnesty”).

Swisher was cited at his residence in the 3200 block of South Center Street and released.

Bet that pad has really messy sock drawers!
