Rodolfo Cisneros, a.k.a. Rodolfo "Rudy" Torres
Have you seen this man? The Westminster Police Department is seeking the public's help in tracking down 37-year-old Rodolfo Cisneros, who also goes by Rodolfo "Rudy" Torres and is accused of beating his wife so severely she will need reconstructive surgery.
The couple's 13-year-old daughter, who was also allegedly attacked by her father, ran to the home of a neighbor, who called police around 11:30 p.m. Friday, according to Westminster Police Sgt. Rich Mize.
Officers arrived at the home in the 13000 block of Iowa Street to find the 32-year-old mother handcuffed and unconscious in the bathroom, said Mize, who adds investigators believe she was dragged to the shower and beaten senseless.
The couple's four children were home during the incident, and police believe "that this brave little girl saved her mom," Mize said. "If she hadn't notified a neighbor, it appears that Cisneros was going to continue beating her."
Police have obtained a warrant for Cisneros on suspicion of attempted murder, torture and mayhem. He is described as 5 feet 5 and about 130 pounds with brown short, straight hair. He is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who knows his whereabouts is asked to call the Westminster Police Department at 714.898.3315. Anonymous tips can also be given to Orange County Crime Stoppers by calling 1.855.TIP.OCCS or by logging onto Crimestoppers.org.
