If you were outside enjoying the fall weather this weekend, and
not holed up in your home watching Comedy Central, you might have
missed the airing of the “Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear,” hosted
by the cable channel's fake newscasters/real pundits Jon Stewart and
Stephen Colbert (there was, however, plenty of media coverage.) While the actual
rally was on the National Mall in D.C., many cities held satellite
rallies of their own, including Los Angeles.

Restore Sanity took place Saturday at MacArthur Park's Levitt
Pavilion. Photo by Ted Soqui for LA Weekly. And yes, it is one of the best signs ever.

Keegan

rally, and he spotted more than a few signs — here are his “5 hilarious signs” picks.

Finally,
nice move by the Miami New Times, which asked a comedian to cover a rally put on by comedians. No NPR-
ish analysis here, just laughs. Miami comic Daniel Reskin brings back this report for the New Times.
