Comment by Gina: Where was he found--in Santa Ana?
Comment by Alan: I would love to meet that poor dog's former owners. I would also love to beat the crap out of them and force them to eat dirt to see how they like it. I got $100 that says the family is hispanic.
Comment by Samantha Gowen, Pet Tales editor: Alan, as much as I want to delete your comment, it's your opinion and you're entitled to it. However, it's important to note that people of all race, color and creed abuse animals, and that is the saddest fact of all.
Comment by kipromero: Maybe it was an inbred hillbilly!
Comment by bootzy: You are probably right about the Hispanic thing. I know some will see that as racist, but it is also factual. Most latinos have dogs (in my neighborhood), most of these dogs are chained up all day and night (in my neighborhood). When the Animal rescue people come, it's always not their dog, but just some stray they found. Go to a dog park, what do you see...Now go to a regular park...one has dogfighting for money going on...im [sic] just saying.
Editor's Note: Hey, bootzy! Is it me, or does it seem like whenever somebody says "I'm just saying" they have usually just said something really dim-witted? Kind of like whenever somebody from New York or New Jersey ends a statement with "No disrespect..." you know you've just been disrespected? Anyways, no offense, bootzy; I'm just saying. No disrespect though.
*See correction below. There is no such thing as a "German Shephard." My bad.
