While serving a search warrant at a home in the 5300 block of Bishop Street in Cypress this morning, the man of the house being cuffed for alleged narcotics sales mentioned he had three grenades on the premises.
The disclosure prompted a call to the Orange County Sheriff's Department Bomb Squad, whose members searched the single-story home and found two inert grenades.
Searchers were still looking for the third as this post went up, and Bishop was closed between Grindlay and Watson streets as a precaution.

The search warrant was served at 7 a.m., and before the bomb squad was called police snoops had already turned up a loaded semi-automatic handgun and evidence that drug sales took place from the pad.
The resident, whose name has not been released, was arrested on suspicion of
felony narcotics sale and held at Cypress' city jail.
