I don't know why anyone would expect less from a dog alternately raised by a mouse and whatever the hell Goofy is, but Pluto is accused of sending an 8-year-old boy to the hospital after a strong hug at Disneyland that one would expect from a country bear more than a costumed canine.

Laurie Ramirez claims her son Ethan was “tossed around like a rag doll”–and has cellphone video to prove it!
“When Pluto tried hugging me, he grabbed me and it just hurt my back,” the boy later tells his mother as she records him. Ramirez claims her boy spent an afternoon in an emergency room as a result of the embrace.
A Disney official told KTLA that the cast member was disciplined and, “We are in contact with the family and are in the process of gathering the facts.”
One presumes a personal-injury lawyer is doing the same.
