As a guest food blogger brilliantly reported on the Weekly's Stick a Fork In It, NetFlix is promoting new Arrested Development episodes by taking Bluth's Original Frozen Banana stand to London, New York and Los Angeles. That's sparked a petition drive to bring the stand to the wacky family's "hometown," Newport Beach.
Someone named Krupali emailed the Weekly about our post ...
he or she is "bummed the stand isn't coming home to Newport Beach where it all started."
Krupali knew from reading the post that the best television show ever about life in Orange County (albeit one filmed in Culver City and Marina del Rey) was being pimped via the Bluth's Original Frozen Banana Stand Worldwide Tour that winds through London until Tuesday, May 21.
The stand then returns to the States, but LA is the closest tour stop to Orange County announced by NetFlix. Frozen bananas are to be sold for around $2, and cast members are scheduled to make appearances through May 26, when the new season drops. (Track the banana stand @arresteddev on Twitter.)

The organizer is hoping 100 signatures will do the trick, but there were only 12 John Hancocks (or Bob Loblaws) as of this post was published. We can do better than that, Orange County! Let's make this our best summer ever.
