A 23-year-old man is accused of the statutory rape of an underage teen girl he allegedly tattooed, gave methamphetamine and induced to buy or sell a controlled substance, according to the district attorney's office.

Osbaldo Valadez Espina, who was arrested at an "encampment" for transients in Laguna Hills on Friday, is being held without bail heading into an arraignment hearing scheduled for Nov. 6.

Espina allegedly gave the girl, who is about 15 to 16 years old, meth and used some sort of tool to apply the tattoo to her, according to Orange County Deputy District Attorney Tina Patel.

The defendant is charged with unlawful sexual intercourse, inducing a minor to buy or sell a controlled substance, and inducing a minor four years or younger as agent to a crime, all felonies. Espina also faces misdemeanors for tattooing a minor and possession of a controlled substance.
