Orange County Has First Flu-Related Death. Don't Be the Next

​Coughing, the sniffles and a fever aren't joking matters. For those of you putting off getting your flu shot, now may be the time to consider finding your nearest vaccination provider.

Health officials have reported that Orange County experienced its first flu-related death this month, but they won't release further details, according to a report by the Mercury News.

The only details released by health-care officials was that the individual who died was an adult. There have been 10 serious cases of the flu, resulting in hospitalization, five of whom were children.

Shots are available at various pharmacies, and there are free shots at the Santa Ana clinic of the Health Care Agency.
