One man was shot to death and a second was wounded by gunfire Friday night in Santa Ana.

The men were apparently standing in front of a home in the 800 block of North Jackson Street, where they were approached by two other men who started a conversation of some kind before shots rang out, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.
The call came in around 7:10 p.m. and led to the two shooting victims being taken UCI Medical Center in Orange, where one fellow later died, said police, who had no descriptions of the suspects and did not know if they fled on foot or in a vehicle.
