Octomom Nadya Suleman is TV Dating Show “Prize”

Octomom Nadya Suleman is already La Habra's most famous single mother of 14, but her Q rating is about to blow up even larger as she'll appear on a new TV dating show.

Celebridate, which is to debut in October on HDNet, features three contestants plucked from the general population vying for a chance to date a celebrity, one of whom is you-know-who.

“I don't perceive myself to be a
celebrity, but I guess they do,” Suleman reportedly told Popeater's Rob Shuter, who breaks the “exclusive.” “To a certain degree, I am in the public
eye.”

For her appearance, she's in the eye not only of those hoping to be chosen for a date with her but host Roger Lodge, whose The Sports Lodge runs mornings on the Angels station, AM 830 KLAA, with short simulcast segments on the KTLA Morning News. Fontana-born Rogelio Chavez rose to national prominence hosting the syndicated dating show Blind Date from 1999-2006.

Shuter begins his item: “Oh my. Just when you thought it was safe to
have sex again . . .” But it's unclear whether it comes to that after what Suleman called her first-ever date. “I
am painfully shy and
anxious . . . that's just my personality,” the media 'ho tells Shuter.
“So it's difficult for me to interact and to have eye contact.”

Happy ending or no, sneak-peeker Shuter does claim Suleman's episode features a surprise ending.

One safely assumes it's not her announcement that she's retiring from the public eye.
