OC Weekly Is Looking For A Video Intern!
Sriracha not included
Your favorite infernal rag is looking for interns who are interested in telling the unique stories of Orange County via online video.
Our video interns produce video content for the paper's website to accompany its print features and online reporting. Video interns coordinate with the editor, reporters, web editor and art director to produce two brief segments each week, as well as two long-term projects over the course of the semester.
Applicants must have excellent communication and organizational skills, well-developed creative and production skills, and be comfortable working independently and juggling several projects on tight deadlines.
Please provide your own equipment. Interns must have reliable transportation; we will reimburse for mileage and assignment expenses.
Candidates must be proficient in Apple Final Cut Pro X and Compressor, with some knowledge of Apple Motion as well as any editing software the intern may own.
To apply, send a résumé and clips to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include "OC Weekly Multimedia Intern" in the subject line. Applicants who are not enrolled in school and who are unable to receive academic credit are ineligible.
