Nearly Naked Lady Injured in Leap from Hotel Balcony Near Disneyland Details Sexual Attack

A “nearly naked female” walks into an Anaheim hotel lobby . . .

That's how employees of the Clarion Hotel, 616 W. Convention Way, began their contact with a banged-up lady who'd been sexually assaulted in a room early Wednesday, chased after she broke away and injured after leaping from a second-floor balcony, according to Anaheim Police.

The unidentified woman was later listed in stable condition at a local hospital where she was treated for injuries from the jump and sexual assault, according to Sgt. Bob Dunn, the police department spokesman.

The early investigation shows she met a man on the Internet and agreed to meet him at the hotel that is walking distance from the Anaheim Convention Center and Disney Resort area. But she detailed for cops how he turned violent and sexually assaulted her in a room before she entered the lobby around 5 a.m., Dunn said.

The man, who had obviously split before cops arrived, was described as an African American in his late 20s standing 5-foot-7 to 6-foot tall and 170 to 180 lbs. with pulled-back dreadlocks. Anyone who thinks they know who the guy is or witnessed any part of the incident is asked to contact Orange County Crime Stoppers at 855.TIP.OCCS. Tips can be left anonymously.
