Mathew Macul Fahey, Former CdM High Teacher, Pleads Guilty to Molesting Little Girls
Former Corona del Mar High School teacher Mathew Macul Fahey pleaded guilty in Santa Ana recently to molesting two girls years ago.
The 51-year-old, who also copped to possessing child pornography, could be ordered locked up for nearly 11 years at his looming sentencing hearing.
Fahey, who was looking at a possible life sentence if convicted without the guilty pleas, molested a then-11-year-old girl in 2001 and an 8-year-old girl in 2008, according to prosecutors cited by City News Service.
He was teaching English to ninth graders at Palo Verde High School in Blythe when he was arrested in 2008. Fahey has taught at Corona del Mar High School in 2003 and 2004. He was also a professional photographer with a pervy side hobby: shooting naughty pictures of little girls.
