For the last year of my KPFK-FM 90.7 radio show, I always had the pleasure of personally meeting longtime host Maria Armoudian–if only for about a minute. See, Armoudian's show, The Insighters, followed mine, and our compliments were done as I was getting out of the recording studio and she was coming in. Luckily, I was able to listen to her on the way back, her interviews always illuminating, especially when it came to eviscerating the so-called liberal media.
You'll have the chance to meet her in person this Friday, when Armoudian speaks about her new book, Kill the Messenger: The Media's Role in the Fate of the World, at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Anaheim.
