One more reason to despise hickeys: It could have you spending 270 days in jail.
Just ask 42-year-old Manuel Parada, who received that sentence for lewd acts with a 12-year-old girl he met on Facebook.
When school officials saw a hickey on the girl after Parada dropped her off, they called Santa Ana Police.

This is a weird one, folks: After meeting the girl via Facebook, Parada showed up at one of her family's large gatherings last summer without raising suspicions by blending into the crowd.
Without the parents' knowledge, Parada went on to drive the girl to Carr Intermediate School twice a week. That's where police were called to last Oct. 17, when the by-then 13-year-old told investigators of having become friends with Parada over Facebook the year before.
He was later booked into Santa Ana city jail. Parada, pleaded guilty last week to a felony count of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor, and besides the jail time he was put on five years of formal probation.
