Publicity in the Orange County Register about the boy-sex charges against Luis Alberto Pineda have led to more counts against the 29-year-old soccer coach and martial arts instructor.
Pineda, 29, was arrested Aug. 5 on suspicion of molesting five boys. Two more youths have been added to the case, and the Anaheim resident now faces 24 child molestation counts.
The original arrest of Pineda--a former martial-arts assistant instructor at Moo Yea Do Martial Arts in Fullerton and a soccer coach for the North Orange County Youth Soccer Premier League--was covered in the Register, on Navel Gazing and elsewhere.

Register readers who apparently recognized Pineda asked family members if the coach had molested them, and two new kids answered in the affirmative, the paper is reporting.
The Orange County District Attorney's Office was contacted, and additional charges were filed against Pineda last week.
He is currently being held on $1 million bail as he awaits an Oct. 7 arraignment.
Meanwhile, OCDA and Anaheim Police investigators are still working the case, looking for additional victims. Know any? Contact police detective Sal Enriquez at (714) 765-1972 or district attorney investigator Randy Litwin at (714) 347-8794.
