On my KPFK-FM 90.7 radio show this Tuesday, I interviewed a member of the Orange County Dream Team, a group of undocumented college students. This past Saturday, they and other supporters met with Congresswomen Loretta Sanchez, seeking her co-sponsorship of the DREAM Act, which would create a path to citizenship for college students who have lived in this country illegally for years. You'd figure Loretta--who owes her career to illegals, from the days of Hermandad Mexicana Nacional to Tan Nguyen and all those Latinos in her district who can now vote due to the 1986 amnesty--would be an obvious supporter of the bill. But to the student's disappointment, Sanchez refused to co-sponsor the bipartisan bill while simultaneously claiming she'll vote in favor of it if it ever reaches a House vote.

Huh? This isn't the first time that Sanchez has tried to have both ways with the Dream Team, according to members. They have met with Sanchez a couple of times over the past couple of years, and her response has always been the same: no, because she favors "comprehensive immigration reform," the Orwellian term for "amnesty" that those on the Left nowadays use. It doesn't matter what side you stand on this issue: let's all join together and call Loretta what she is: a hypocritical ingrate. Chula: if it wasn't for dem illegals, you'd still be losing elections as a Reep.
