Producers of The Real Housewives of Orange County are checking out Vanessa Bryant, Kobe's off-and-on-again wife, as a new cast member, an “insider” apparently claims.
“There will be a new girl and a new friend,” an unnamed Mr. RHOC told RumorFix. “They are looking at athletes' wives. There is one who plays professional baseball. There have also been talks of Kobe Bryant's wife being scoped out.”
Keep in mind that unnamed insiders have a validity rate that ranks down there with Mark Madsen's career 3-point field goal percentage.

But what does lend the RumorFix rumor two eyedrops of credibility are beliefs that Bravo is not enamored with the current cast and the former Vanessa Laine of Huntington Beach has long coveted Kim Kardashian-like attention.
Speaking of Kardashians, reality-show cameras in the Bryants' Newport Coast home(s) certainly would not prove to be a distraction to an NBA player. Just ask once-beloved-Laker Lamar Odom, currently a free agent.
