Kenneth Anthony Huskey Accused of Sex Crimes, Battering Women on HB's Main Street

A pre-trial hearing is scheduled Monday in Westminster for a 25-year-old Las Vegas man accused of being even more dangerous and imbalanced than the typical dangerous and imbalanced characters one brushes up against on Huntington Beach's Main Street.

Authorities say last Thursday afternoon Kenneth Anthony Huskey pushed a store clerk against a cash
register, grabbed her hips and ass, kissed her cheeks and lips, made sexually explicit comments, demanded her phone number and–when she managed to break away–grabbed her cell phone off the counter and called his own cell so he would have her number.

An hour later, Huskey's alleged reign of terror got much, much worse.

He is accused of pushing an eight-month-pregnant woman off the sidewalk and down to the ground on Main Street so he could get to her friend, who he blocked with his arms and body. He went on to demand her phone number, remove her sunglasses so that he could see her eyes and grab her crotch and thigh as she escaped his creepy grasp, according to prosecution statement below.

Oh, forgot to mention Sir Dreamboat is a registered sex offender in Sarah Palin country.

SEX OFFENDER CHARGED WITH SEXUALLY ASSAULTING TWO WOMEN AND SHOVING AN 8-MONTH-PREGNANT WOMAN INTO THE STREET

WESTMINSTER – A man registered as a sex offender in Alaska has been
charged with sexual battery for assaulting two women in Huntington Beach
and pushing the 8-month-pregnant friend of one of his victims into the
street. Kenneth Anthony Huskey, 25, Las Vegas, has been charged with two
felony counts of false imprisonment by violence, two felony counts of
sexual battery by restraint, and one misdemeanor count of battery. He is
a registered sex offender in the State of Alaska as a result of a 2003
prior strike conviction for sexual abuse of a minor. If convicted,
Huskey faces a maximum sentence of twelve years and eight months in
state prison. He is being held on $1 million bail and is scheduled for a
pre-trial hearing on Aug. 30, 2010, at 8:30 a.m. in Department W-14,
West Justice Center, Westminster.

At approximately 3:00 p.m. on Aug. 19, 2010, Huskey is accused of
entering a jewelry store on Main Street in Huntington Beach and
approaching a female store clerk, Jane Doe #1. He is accused of
frightening the victim by telling her that he had been in prison and had
previously sexually assaulted a woman. The victim and defendant were
alone in the store.

Huskey is accused of following Jane Doe #1 through the store as she
attempted to walk away from him and pushing her against a nearby cash
register. As the victim pleaded with the defendant to stop, he is
accused of grabbing her hips and buttocks, kissing her cheek and lips,
making explicit sexual comments, and demanding her phone number. When
she was able to break away, Huskey is accused of taking the victim's
cell phone from the store counter and calling his own phone in order to
obtain her number. The defendant left the store and the victim called
police.

At approximately 4:00 p.m., Huskey is accused of approaching two women,
Jane Doe #2 and Jane Doe #3, who were walking on Main Street. He is
accused of physically pushing an 8-month-pregnant Jane Doe #3 off of the
sidewalk into the street to move her out of his way. Huskey is accused
of blocking the other woman's path by raising his arms and standing in
front of her.

As Jane Doe #2 backed away, the defendant is accused of continuing to
move toward her, cornering her against a fence. He is accused of putting
his arms on either side of the victim, moving his body to keep her from
getting away, and demanding that she give him her phone number and take
off her sunglasses so that he could see her eyes. The victim pleaded
for the defendant to let her go. Huskey is accused of then reaching to
grab the victim's crotch and grabbing her thigh when the victim shifted
to get away. Jane Doe #2 contacted the police after he walked away.

At approximately 5:35 p.m., Huntington Beach Police Department (HBPD)
officers stopped Huskey in a routine traffic stop for dark tint on his
vehicle windows. At the time of his arrest, Huskey is accused of having
Jane Doe #1's phone number in his cell phone.

This case was investigated by HBPD. Anyone with additional information
or who believes they have been a victim is encouraged to contact
Supervising District Attorney Investigator
