Whittier 30-year-old Justin Paul Petruna is being held for the alleged attempted murder of another man at Out of Bounds sports bar on Brookhurst Street in Huntington Beach.
The victim suffered serious and life-threatening injuries from the stabbing that happened around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Huntington Beach Police.

Cops got a call about a stabbing at the bar and immediately found the unidentified man with the injuries. He was treated at the bar before being taken to a local hospital for surgery, after which he was listed in stable condition.
Petruna was detained “some distance away from the bar,” according to police, who arrested him on suspicion of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
