Joshua Frank Olivas Sought After Allegedly Roughing Up and Stabbing Wife
Garden Grove Police are seeking a 34-year-old man who allegedly stabbed his wife during a marital spat and then sped off in his vehicle.
Joshua Frank Olivas is accused of physically assaulting his 30-year-old wife before stabbing her once, driving off and then abandoning his vehicle Saturday night, according to cops.
This all started after 9 p.m. Saturday near the 13000 block of Partridge Street, according to a statement from Garden Grove Police Lt. Jeff Nightengale. The department's spokesman said police were dispatched after the woman, despite her stab wound, fled to a neighbor's home and called 9-1-1. She was later treated at an area hospital for a non-life threatening stab wound.
Olivas is described as Latino, 5-foot-9, 280 pounds with black hair and multiple tattoos. Anyone who has seen him or has information on the stabbing is asked to call Garden Grove police detectives at 714.741.5704.
