A misdemeanor count of battery against a cohabitant was dropped.

Nguyen, formerly a contract assistant

That led to an ongoing sexual relationship that ended this past January, when Nguyen slapped the girl in his
vehicle parked outside a convenience store before school hours.
She later told Los Amigos High administrators, which produced a Fountain Valley Police Department trial, charges from the Orange County District Attorney and the trial that just ended at the Westminster courthouse.

Nguyen must surrender to jailers by Dec. 7.
