James Hirsen, Fox's Anti-Hollywood Pundit, Indoctrinates Local Screenwriters Tonight

OC
Screen Writers Association, a nonprofit organization formed to help amateur
and professional writers and filmmakers pool their talents to help one
another, warns that the guest speaker for its first networking event tonight is “not buying the drinks.”

That's a shame because members may need a belt or 11 after hearing from James Hirsen.

The Newport Beach resident is a Hollywood entertainment attorney more famously known for his
NewsMax.com columns, The Left Coast Report blog, the book Tales
from the Left Coast: True Stories of
Hollywood Stars and Their Outrageous Politics
and his choir boy punditry on shows like Hannity, O'Reilly
and Fox and Friends.

If that is not enough to make struggling writers pull the couch cushions in search of enough spare change to order doubles, there is this: Hirsen has been such a constant defender of Sarah Palin in the face of stinging Tina Fey impersonations, Katie Couric interviews and other perceived elitist-left-wing-media slights against Alaska's governor-in-exile that he is prominently featured on a website pumping her for president.

Keep 'em coming, Mario!

If this sounds like kind of shindig that floats your margarita, well then head over to the ritzy Ritz Restaurant at 800 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach–you know, the place where all out-of-work writers like to hang out after binging on Top Ramen–from 6:30 to 9:30 tonight. (RSVP here.)

And just keep telling yourself it could be worse: Andrew Breitbart could be attached to Hirsen's hip.

Mario, make that a quadruple!
