Jaime Gonzalez, Furniture Shop Owner, Allegedly Molested 14 y.o. Girl Relative in Store


A 75-year-old man was arraigned at West Justice Center in Westminster Wednesday afternoon on charges he allegedly molested a 14-year-old female family member in his Fountain Valley furniture store while out view of other family members.

Today, prosecutors are seeking the public's help in finding more possible victims of La Verne's Jaime Gonzalez, who is charged with felony lewd acts on a child.

Conviction could result in up to eight years in
state prison and lifetime sex offender registration.

Several family members were visiting Gonzalez's shop Nov. 4 when he allegedly led the girl to a secluded area and molested her, according to a statement released by the Orange County District Attorney's office.

The girl told her family what happened, which led to a sexual-assault report to the Fountain Valley Police Department, which investigated and arrested Gonzalez.

Authorities fear there may be other victims of the businessman who previously resided in Covina and Corpus Christie, Texas. Anyone with additional information or who believes they have been a
