Irina Martinez and Andres Terrones Accused of Running Prostitution Ring Near Disneyland

This is so weird: I was driving home from my weekly movie viewing at the UltraLuxe in Anaheim's GardenWalk when I looked to the side of Disney Way and thought to myself, “I didn't know there was a Motel 6 that close to Disneyland.”

Irina Martinez and Andres Terrones apparently knew. They are accused of running a sophisticated prostitution ring out of the same motel, and police and the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force are now turning to the public to find other alleged victims of the pair.

An advertisement on the Internet led investigators from the task force and Anaheim Police Department (APD) to the Motel 6 at 100 W. Disney Way, where surveillance uncovered prostitution violations, according to a statement from Sgt. Bob Dunn, the agency's spokesman.

Martinez, 27, and Terrones, 28, both of Santa Ana, were arrested Monday for allegedly collecting money that was generated by several women committing acts of prostitution at the Motel 6, Dunn informs. Specifically, Martinez is accused of pimping, pandering, conspiracy and child endangerment while Terrones faces all the same charges except pandering. The Orange County District Attorney's office is considering whether to file criminal counts, according to Dunn.

The ongoing investigation has determined there may be other women out there who were “exploited by Martinez and Terrones,” added Dunn.

Anaheim Police vice investigators hope the booking photos of the suspects may lead other women to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Anaheim Police Department Vice Detail at 714.765.1482 or the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force at 888.373.7888 or www.egovlink.com/ochumantrafficking/action.asp.
