Huntington Beach Has a Brand New Groper
Last month we brought you the gropings of three women's butts in Huntington Beach and Westminster, the arrest of Matthew Andrew Linville and the Westminster 19-year-old's not-guilty plea.
So all's well that eee- ... check that: the Huntington Beach Police Department (HBPD) reports they are dealing with a new groper, whose composite drawing you see here.
A woman returned to her home near Bolsa Chica Road and Warner Avenue around 1 a.m. Oct. 3 when she was grabbed from behind by a man who covered her mouth and flashed a handgun, according to police.
The stranger told the woman not to scream, but she tried to fight him off, causing both to fall to the ground, said police, who added the man copped a feel before taking off.
He was described as 22 to 26 years old, 5-foot-7 with a medium build and last seen wearing blue jeans and a black, short-sleeved T-shirt with white and blue designs.
Anyone who has information that can help police catch Surf City's new groper is asked to call them at 714.375.5066. Anonymous tips can be left with Orange County Crimestoppers at 855.TIP.OCCS.
