Howard Dean and Rick Santorum Coming to Long Beach to Debate Politics and Stuff

Rick Santorum, who is famous for saying, “Many of the Christian faith have said, well, that's okay, contraception is okay. It's not okay. It's a license to do things in a sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be,” is coming to Long Beach to debate politics with Howard Dean, who is famous for saying, “Not only are we going to New Hampshire, Tom Harkin, we're going to South Carolina and Oklahoma and Arizona and North Dakota and New Mexico, and we're going to California and Texas and New York. … And we're going to South Dakota and Oregon and Washington and Michigan, and then we're going to Washington, D.C., to take back the White House! YEEAAHHUHAHHH!!!”

The former Vermont governor, who had been an early favorite to win the 2004 Democratic nomination for president before the famous “Dean Scream” in Iowa, and the ex-Pennsylvania senator, who finished second to Mitt Romney for the 2012 Republican nomination for president, are scheduled to debate at the Asian American Hotel Owners Association's 2015 Convention and Trade Show April 22-25 at Long Beach Convention Center.

“At AAHOA, we could not be more excited to host a debate with two of the nation's most prominent and reputable politicians,” says AAHOA Chairman Pratik Patel in Tuesday's announcement. “Howard Dean and Rick Santorum have majorly influenced modern politics and are experts on a wide range of current events. This is sure to be a significant and thrilling debate for all of our attendees.”

Topics for “the lively discussion” will include “points and counterpoints on current events and the pressing political issues that affect small business owners and the hospitality industry,” according to AAHOA, whose interim president Chip Rogers will moderate.

Hotel Impossible host Anthony Melchiorri and famous artist and business author Erik Wahl are among the other speakers during the convention for what's billed as “the largest hotel owners association in the world.” Visit www.aahoa.com for more details.
