You were the stereotypical homeless man who asked my friend and I for some spare change as we recently walked into an upscale eatery. Down on your luck, you said. I offered to buy you a meal. You said you already ate, but needed money for the long night ahead. My friend and I each gave you some money. You walked away searching for the next handout. After dinner, we walked back to our car. That's when we noticed you walking away rather quickly. What struck our attention was that you were changing clothes as you were walking. What blew us away was you walked right up to a 325i BMW, produced a key from your dirty pants and drove away. How many "homeless" people drive BMWs? Is the "homeless" profession so lucrative these days? Maybe it's time for me to make a career change.
