A special presentation Tuesday evening of Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos folds into periodic gatherings by devotees of anime, manga and Asian music leading up to a June convention at the Anaheim Convention Center.
The film, which opened last July in Japan, makes its local premiere at 7:30 p.m. a few steps west of the Convention Center, at the UltraLuxe cinemas at GardenWalk.
Set within the second storyline of the manga series written and illustrated by Hiromu Arakawa, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos was was directed by Kazuya Murata, written by Yūichi Shinpo and produced by Bones, as was the first Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa.
