Using codes during phone calls and having ties to the notorious Mexican Mafia didn't save two Forming Kaos (FK) gang members from winning tough punishment inside Orange County's Ronald Reagan Federal Courthouse.
U.S. District Court Judge James V. Selna this month sent Eric Leonal Morales and Steven Larry Coble, both methamphetamine dealers, away to long prison trips.
The defendants worked in the Mexican Mafia drug trafficking umbrella in Southern California, but undercover federal agents working in league with local narcotics detectives pierced Cesar Munguia's FK crew using confidential informants.

Morales, the father of several young kids, began working for the gang while on parole and within hours of being released from prison on a prior drug dealing conviction.
Coble, also a father and career criminal with a rap sheet that includes auto theft at the age of 17 as well as a long list of parole violations, sold drugs and weapons for FK, a subservient outfit to the Mexican Mafia.
Morales, 29, received a punishment of 130 months and is presently being transported to a federal prison.
The 28-year-old Coble (a.k.a. “Casper”) is serving his 87-month sentence at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles.
Much of the government's court case has been conduction in secrecy, but it appears that there has been no resolution to the charges against Munguia (a.k.a. “Roach”).
