Florida Wife Who Accidentally Hired Undercover Cop To Kill Spouse Has OC Ties
Dalia Mohammed Dippolito--the gold-digging Palm Beach County call girl who found herself in the national media spotlight in August after police accused her of unknowingly hiring an undercover cop to kill her new husband--has ties to Orange County, California.
According to a report this weekend in the Palm Beach Post, Mohammed lived in Los Angeles and worked in OC apparently as a bi-coastal prostitute when she answered a 2008 call for an escort by Michael Dippolito of Boca Raton.
Dippolito, 38, quickly divorced his wife that he'd cheated on and married Mohammed, now 27 years old and a native of New York. After getting her new husband to give her his home and $240,000 of his life savings, the hooker unsuccessfully attempted to kill him by putting odorless anti-freeze into his Starbucks coffee in July and the following month gave a cop posing as a hit man $3,000 and the alarm instructions for the couple's home, according to police. The woman claims she is innocent of solicitation to commit murder charges.
