Do You Know the Woman Killed When She Was Hit by an Auto in Stanton ... 8 Years Ago?

The county coroner is turning to the public for help in identifying a woman who was killed after being struck by an auto at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Orangewood Avenue in Stanton.

She was possibly of mixed race, age 19 to 30, 5-foot-3, 165 pounds with long, wavy brown/black hair and brown eyes.

Oh, yes, she died in September ... 2005.

It was around 9:05 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2005, when she was struck by the vehicle, to be precise. She later died at West Anaheim Medical Center.

She was wearing a striped shirt, blue denim shorts and jeweled flip-flop sandals, as well as, silver bangle-type bracelet. She had on her a day bus pass (route 38) from the Lakewood area, receipts from the Buena Park Mall (all dated Sept. 11, 2005) and a Reggaeton 2005 music CD, according to the coroner.

Besides an I.D., investigators want to locate her family. Anyone with information is urged to call the Orange County Sheriff's Department Coroner Division at (714) 647-7411 and reference case number 05-06717-HO.
