Democrat Michele Martinez Trying to Get Republican Latino Support in Bid for 69th Assembly District

Supporters of SanTana councilwoman and 69th Assembly District candidate Michele Martinez try to paint her as a liberal lioness, a progressive puma, but anyone who has tracked her career knows that Martinez is a craven opportunist who'll side with whomever will guarantee her a shot at victory. That's why she went from one election cycle of challenging Mayor-for-Life Don Papi Pulido to supporting him in 2010, and that's what's leading Michele to hang around with Republican Latinos and their Mexican idols this year in hopes of gaining their votes and money in the 69th primary.

Martinez was spotted this past Saturday at a shindig held by the Hispanic 100, the OC GOP Latino group whose biggest claim to fame was having failed California gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman slam back a tequila shot at one of their shindigs. Way to celebrate assimilation!

The PAN, of course, is the party of anti-abortion activists, Catholic douchebags, wannabe Chicago boys–hey, just like the Republican Party here! That the Hispanic 100 hosted Mota shows all you need to know about where they stand politically, and any good Democrat wouldn't be at that gathering of vendidos if you guaranteed them a bottle of Patrón. But Martinez was there, and there you go. What's next: Martinez hanging out with the Gingrich crowd? They were there with the Hispanic 100, y'know…
