A Yorba Linda senior-living home's former maintenance worker who sexually assaulted a 69-year-old disabled woman was sentenced last week to three years in state prison.
David Moreno, 29, of Riverside, must also register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

From June 1-July 24, 2012, Moreno entered the woman's room at Emeritus Senior Living in Yorba Linda, where she was being treated for dementia, and sexually assaulted her. But he left behind physical evidence that helped Brea Police investigators take Moreno down.
He pleaded guilty Dec. 6 to sexual battery on an institutionalized victim and sexual penetration with a foreign object of an incompetent victim.
