David Hung Do, Former Kaiser Doctor, on Trial for Alleged Sexy Touching of Lady Patients

Opening statements began today in the criminal trial against Dr. David Hung Do, a former general practitioner accused of sexually assaulting three female
patients by touching their breasts and vaginas during routine medical exams at Kaiser Permanente facilities in Anaheim.

That should actually read former doctor, too, because the state medical board revoked the Riverside 42-year-old's license to practice in May 2011.

Between July 2007 and June 2008, Do “abused his position of trust” by falsely using the exams to touch
three women, ages 21 to 31, under their clothing and on the breasts and vaginas, according to an Orange County District Attorney's office (OCDA) statement that adds: “The sexual touching was unnecessary
and unrelated to the medical treatment needed by the women.”

This happened at Kaiser hospitals and clinics, prompting two of the women, who did not know each other, to independently complained to the medical provider and the Anaheim Police Department, which discovered the third victim during the investigation, the OCDA states.

Do is fighting three felony counts of sexual battery by fraud and the possibility of six years in state prison with a conviction.
