Cristobal Ortiz Rodriguez and Brother Eduardo Ortiz Rodriguez Accused of Molesting Girls, Ages 3 and 6

Plying two girls ages 3 and 6 with candy and ice cream, two grown brothers had tag-team, simultaneous and solo sessions molesting and sexually assaulting the children in their Fullerton neighborhood for over a year,  prosecutors allege.

Cristobal Ortiz Rodriguez, 35, and Eduardo Ortiz Rodriguez, 33, are scheduled to be arraigned Thursday morning on charges that could fetch each them sentences of 120 years to life in state prison.

The Rodriquez brothers were living together in a converted garage in May 2010 when they met the young victims, according to the Orange County District Attorney's office (OCDA).

“Between May 2010 and August 2011, the defendants are accused of
molesting the two little girls while the defendants were together, one
after the other, and on their own at separate times,” reads an OCDA arraignment statement. “The sexual conduct
included touching, masturbation, digital penetration, oral copulation,
and showing pornographic images to the victims.”

Despite the candy and ice cream aimed at silencing the girls, the by-then 7-year-old in August told a relative what happened to her and the younger girl, Fullerton cops launched an investigation and the Rodriguez boys were arrested on Aug. 26.

They are each charged with two felony counts of oral copulation or sexual
penetration of a child under 10 years old, six felony counts of lewd
acts on a child under 14 years old, and a sentencing enhancement
allegation for committing a sexual crime against more than one victim.

Both are being held in lieu of $1 million bail before their continued arraignment scheduled for 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Central Jail in
Santa Ana.
