Christopher Tran Believed to Have Committed Suicide via Disneyland Parking Facility


An autopsy is scheduled this morning for Christopher Tran, a 23-year-old Santa Anan believed to have leaped to his death from Disneyland's Mickey & Friends parking structure Monday morning. An Anaheim police traffic control officer found Tran's body around 9:30 a.m. near the northwest corner of the resort's main parking structure, according to authorities investigating the death as a suicide.

Tran was pronounced dead after police and paramedics arrived.

Despite no witness having come forward, Tran's death is being probed as a suicide, confirms Sgt. Robert Dunn, the Anaheim Police spokesman.

A 61-year-old man is believed to have committed suicide by jumping from the same parking structure two Octobers ago.
