Look for orange cones, flashing lights and, if necessary, a ride in Irvine and Garden Grove tonight as police departments in both cities run DUI checkpoints tonight.
Over in Laguna Beach, saturation patrols will be deployed Saturday night in areas known for drunken driving arrests, collisions and fatalities.

Up first is Irvine, where the checkpoint is scheduled to run from 8 tonight through 2 a.m. Saturday in the area of Bake Parkway and Rockfield Boulevard.
No location was announced for Garden Grove's sobriety stop, which runs from 9 tonight through 3 a.m. Saturday.
The Laguna Beach police saturation patrols roam the targeted streets from 6 p.m. Saturday through 3 a.m. Sunday.

This weekend's operations in the three cities are funded by grants from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
