ORIGINAL POST, JUNE 24, 12:51 P.M.: Authorities are reaching out to the public in case there are other victims of a Disneyland machinist accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old female relative in Yosemite, Garden Grove and Stanton. Anast is scheduled to be arraigned some time today in Westminster on four felony counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, one felony count of possession and control of child pornography, and a sentencing enhancement allegation for forcible sex crimes, according to a statement from the Orange County District Attorney's office (OCDA).

The sexual assaults are said to have happened on four different dates between Nov. 2, 1997, when the girl was 11 and Nov. 1, 2000. She would have been in her late 20s this past May, when she first contacted the Orange County Sheriff's Department to report the alleged sexual assaults.

Anast was arrested at Disneyland, where he worked as a machinist fixing rides, according to an OCDA statement that adds a subsequent search of his home Thursday produced several videos of child pornography on a computer data storage device he owned.

That's what sparked the concern about other possible victims. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Supervising District Attorney Investigator Paul Carvo at 714.347.8794.

UPDATE, JUNE 24, 4:57 P.M.: Disneyland machinist Bryan William Anast pleaded not guilty at his arraignment today. He remains jailed on $1 million bail and has a pre-trial hearing scheduled July 2.

Meanwhile, Disneyland officials tell City News Service Anast had no contact with guests at the theme park.
