Bask magazine launches its inaugural winter 2011 issue with an invitation-only party Nov. 18 at La Bastide Estate in Shady Canyon, Irvine.
The Newport Beach-based quarterly seeks to capture “luxury living” in Southern
California, from food and fashion to home and travel.
You know, just like Coast, Orange Coast, Riviera, 944 . . . Makes one wonder how many full-page glossy color ads Rolex can support.

Speaking of Riviera, it was co-founded by Jolie Adams, who is the publisher of Bask and was most recently the associate publisher of M Magazine, which focuses
on luxury real estate in Orange County.
Her editor is Carrie
Williams, a Newport Beach native who was editor in
chief of Coast Kids magazine and has written for Coast and Orange
Coast magazines.
They will no doubt be kicking up their stilettos at a launch party that is to include cocktails, mingling with magazine staffers and fashions from John Varvatos, Max Mara, Lugano Diamonds and–natch–Rolex.
