Another Tricky Dick Nixon Stupid Lie Emerges

Can't add much to this recent laobserved.com item concerning Orange County's most infamous native:

"Former President Richard Nixon began his memoir with the line, "I was born in the house my father built.
" Well, in 1959 his mother told the Los Angeles Times he was born in a hospital."

The website links to the January 10, 1959, Times article. The piece, "Yorba Lindans Dedicate Nixon's Boyhood Home," describes how--despite Mrs. Frank A. Nixon's unequivocal declaration--a bronze plaque was "proudly" placed on "a neat little white frame house" for the then-vice president as a (fraudulent) historical marker.
