Police and video reporters responding to an 11 p.m. car crash in Long Beach found a trophy in the street right next to a brown sedan involved in the incident.
That would be a 1949 Ford Sedan which had won the trophy at a car show earlier in the day at Veterans Stadium before crashing into a big rig.
The show car's driver is reportedly under investigation for driving under the influence.

The Long Beach Press-Telegram has the scoop.
The show car apparently swerved into a big rig on Paramount Boulevard just north of 68th Street.
The P-T reports the Ford sustained heavy damage, a passenger had to be extricated by firefighters and the passenger and driver were taken to a local hospital.
