Three Randy Newman Songs Rejected For the Toy Story 3 soundtrack

Singer-songwriter Randy Newman has charmed audiences with his sweet songs and scores featured on the soundtracks of Disney/Pixar movies such as A Bug's Life, Monsters Inc., Cars and the Toy Story trilogy. Who doesn't get a warm feeling after listening to “You've Got a Friend In Me“?
But Newman isn't a simple sentimentalist. On his non-movie albums, he has a penchant for creating satirical (“Short People”) and political (“A Few Words in Defense of Our Country”) tunes, and sometimes that sneaks into his flim work. Just look at these three rejected songs Newman wrote for this summer's Toy Story 3.
