Any EDM fan knows that this month marks the 18th annual Electric Daisy Carnival - the US's largest dance music festival held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway June 20th - 22nd. But if you're not one of the 400,000 fans waiting for their EDC package with tickets in the mail this week, then fear not. With so many artist being routed through Orange County these days, you can get your EDM dance fix every week to some of electronic music's biggest names and favorite local DJs. We did all the hard work for you and picked out the five must-see shows happening right here in your own backyard. The only thing missing is carnival rides and fireworks, but with fourth of July and the OC Fair right around the corner, we think you'll survive.

His vocally infused indie sound will be a break from the big EDM bangers that Element Thursdays offers, but don't be fooled the 28-year-old DJ and producer knows how to get down behind the decks after touring the world (and the states) after the success of his hit "Teenage Crime." The new EP features collabs with vocalists Kaelyn, Behr, Lune, Marcus Schossow, jj & Last Lynx so expect lots of new music in OC! 9pm, 1870 Harbor Blvd., Costa Mesa, CA 92627.
2. Focus 11 Year Anniversary with Pleasurekraft Tuesday, June 17 Focus OC (Tapas)
It's going to be hard to top last year's 10 anniversary with a surprise deep house set by Kaskade, but this year the Focus guys (Josh Billings, Wobs, and Nonfiction) will be celebrating by opening for the Kraftek label heads Pleasurekraft. Though it will most likely only be Kaveh who lives in Washington DC, the night will feature some of our favorite local house music aficionados, deep beats, stiff drinks and the best taco Tuesday in town. Running an all underground dance music club in OC for 11 years is quite the accomplishment so expect nothing but good tech vibes at this 18-and-over party. 9:30 - 2am, 453 Martingale Way, Newport Beach, CA 92660.
