Stay the Night Want to be Featured in a Rom-Com

Stay the Night formed in 2008 with the idea that they'd play pop-punk in the vein of Saves The Day and Taking Back Sunday, with heavier influences such as Shai Hulud, Deftones and Hatebreed. They found their singer via Craigslist and in 2010 released ultra-catchy single “Falling in Place” in the EP, Against The Tides.

While they'e excited to watch Evil Dead at Audio/Visual tonight, the band doesn't imagine that they'd be in a horror movie when it comes time to do a movie soundtrack.  Instead, it would “probably a light-hearted romantic
comedy in which a girl is involved with a jerk but ends up dumping him
for her “best friend”, a slightly less attractive guy who is nice, not
as rich but has a good heart.”

Audio/Visual featuring Franki Doll & The Broken Toys, Stay the Night and Jupilar, Thursday, June 2,7 p.m. at the Regency South Coast Plaza. (Tickets are $8 and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Sweet Relief Musicians Fund.)
