Soul Train Music Awards Tweets Respond to R. Kelly

Still full from leftovers and worn out from on-line shopping, we decided to ditch the awesome Sunday night TV line-up and instead see what the BET/Centric Soul Train Music Awards had to offer. Lol, kidding. Watching Twitter watch the award show was good enough for us so in-between spoilers from the before mentioned Sunday night TV line-up, we watched you all. In a non-creepy way of course.

Here's what we know. The queen of neo-soul Erykah “I'm so pretty and edgy in these stupid hats” Badu hosted, sang, cracked “jokes,” and dropped a shade bomb on Iggy Azalea. Also showing up to support were crowd faves of new and old like Boyz II Men, Fantasia, Tasha Cobb, Babyface, Jill Scott, Brandy, Jidenna, Bobby Brown, Jeremih, Tevin Campbell, and Jazzmine Sullivan. And all the while, the Internet was a blaze singing its praises. Wait, what? Twitter was kind? We've seen this phenomenon before but trust, with good always comes bad and it only took R. Kelly stepping on stage to set it off. In order to properly depict what we saw and give you the full timeline scrolling experience, we've included some “props” tweets as well and then, it goes horribly wrong. If BET planned on getting em' talking, well done. If R. Kelly has plans to drop a new album anytime soon, ummm….

Yeah. Our heads are still spinning.
