Run and Tell That--'Bed Intruder Song' Hit Billboard's Hot 100
Last week, Antoine Dodson's Autotuned remix by the Gregory Brothers surprised us when it hit No. 3 on the iTunes R&B/Soul chart. This week? The "Bed Intruder Song" debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 89, almost exclusively from download sales. It also debuted on Hot Digital Songs at No. 49 with 30,000 downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan, according to Billboard. The original YouTube clip has been viewed nearly 14 million times, so it makes sense--but it's great to see that Antoine and Kelly Dodson are listed as co-writers of the song. Their family will also receive 50 percent of the revenue from the tracks' sales profits.
Still, after all this celebrity for the Huntsville, Ala. natives, you have to ask--did they ever catch the rapist?
