We're pretty sure we know who Kurt Cobain would not be voting for in the 2016 election, if the anti-commercial musician/outspoken humans rights advocate/feminist were alive today.
On 30 July 2016, the pro-Donald Trump Facebook page "Trump Train" posted this meme:
The quotation linked to the meme was quickly debunked by Snopes.com as there is no validity of its source and not even is Kurt's name is spelled correctly on the image.
Unfortunately for deceased celebrities like Cobain, dignity and legacy are two very separate entities. In 2014, a Cobain look-alike was featured in this Bavaria beer commercial along the likenesses of Elvis Presley, Tupac Shakur, Marilyn Monroe, and Bruce Lee:
Cobain's estate recently acquired two co-managers: Maverick’s Guy Oseary and Heather Parry, president of Live Nation Film and Television will now oversee the name, likeness, artwork, digital and licensing of the late Nirvana frontman, along with Courtney Love and France Bean Cobain.
Will the team work harder to release commercial products of a musician who never wanted to be commercialized? We'll see.
