Rebecca Black to Guest on MTV's O Awards

First the DigiTour, and now Rebecca Black is going to be at the MTV O Awards. Why does the world keep proving the Onion right again and again?

As you all know, "Friday" has racked up more than 122 million views on YouTube. This is apparently enough to merit an appearance on MTV's inaugural O Awards on Thursday.

The O Awards will stream live online at  at 8 p.m. to "celebrate and honor the artists, fans, web celebrities and innovators impacting digital music culture," said MTV spokesman Kurt Patat in an e-mail to the OC Register.

According to the story, Rebecca will appear live from Las Vegas along with Matt & Kim, Chiddy Bang. Mumford & Sons, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes and Foster the People. Presenters will include Ke$ha, Cee Lo Green, Wiz Khalifa and Robyn.
